I have a beautiful granddaughter named Abbey that is 3 years old and 1 almost here. She (Tayvn) should arrive any day now.
Ashley is married to Brandon Green, Carmelo is in college, and Gabe is a senior at Southeast High School. I spend my extra
time with my family as much as possible. I love football, riding my Harley, ABATE events, riding with the HOG, and spending
time with friends. I am on the committee for American Cancer, and for the Alzheimer’s Association. My mother among lots
of others had Alzheimer's and I work with a lot of Cancer patients, so I want to do all that I can to help. I encourage all
of you to help, let me know if you are interested. I would love to have ABATE D1 team for both this year!
I am so excited
with the events this year for ABATE D1, we are becoming a great big family. I love you all and I thank you for letting me

Spot Light is:
I was
born here in Murray County and have lived here all my life. My parents were Hoyt and Kathleen Ridley (both deceased). I have
one sister Betty Jo (Ridley) Wells, two brother Randy and Darrell Ridley, one daughter Adriane (Ridley) Ellis and one son
Cody Grant Ridley; together they have given me six wonderful grandchildren.
Most if you may remember me from working at our local Shop-Rite grocery store for over twenty years. Then after a couple
of major turns in my life I started to work for the Murray County Sheriff’s Department in 1992 where I still work today
and hope to retire there so I can enjoy my new found passions. I met my wife and riding partner Kimberly (Shaner) Ridley,
whom you may know as “Aunt B” who was the Ladies of Harley Officer and is now the editor and road captain for
the Mountain Creek HOG Chapter and also a new ABATE D1 member.
I am currently the Safety Officer, a Road Captain for the HOG’s, a member of ABATE D1, Blue Knights GA IX Motorcycle
Club. Together Kim and I have discovered the wonderful world of motorcycles, which has changed our lives. We were told when
we purchased our Harleys that we weren’t just getting new motorcycles but also a new way of life and boy was that true.
And so the rest of the adventure is just beginning!!!
April 2010 Member of the
Month: Andy Etheridge
I was born here in Murray County and have lived here most all my life.
I have been married to my best friend and the love of my life, Jeanette Etheridge for 15 years. We have two
wonderful children Gage Connor Etheridge age 12 and McKinna Renee' Etheridge age 10. They are my world! I work for Shaw Industries as a technician mechanic and have been with the
company for 20 years. I love spending time with my family
and friends. I love meeting new people and well, I never meet a stranger. I ride a Honda VT1100, I try to ride as much as
I can. I heard about ABATE from a friend and they said that it is a good group of people who also love to ride. I am
so glad I did they are the best bikers you can meet! It
is such a honor to know each and every one of you.

Hello my name is Danielle Rainey. I'm 10 yrs old. I have 2 older brothers,
Nigel & Nicholas. My parents are Michael & Jayne. I have been a member of Jr Abate for 3 yrs now and I love what
Abate stands for! My hobbies are camping, riding with my dad on his Harley and DANCEING!! I love to dance this fall
will be my 8th yr taking classes. Between my classes and Ms Donna Jean, I hope to be an awsome dancer one day! Thank

Greg was born & raised in Michigan and he relocated to Georgia
in 1997. He has been married for 23 years to the love of his life Lisa. They have 3 beautiful daughters, Heather, Jessica
and Katie Rose. 2 wonderful grandchildren Gregory and Chloe. They are his life. He enjoy's spending time outdoors. Has the best kept yard you will ever see, he love's to ride, enjoy's camping and
spending time with family and friends. Greg is the type of person to give you the shirt off of his back if you need it.
He works behind the scenes very hard for District 1, & will never accept any praise. Congrats to the July member
of the month!
