The
July's member in the spotlight is “Big Al”. Al has been an ABATE member for 13 years. He loves to ride and has
been riding motorcycles for over forty years. He has owned six different motorcycles over the years, one of which he personally
rode over one hundred thousand miles. The longest ride he ever accomplished was to South Dakota. Now that takes a dedicated
rider. Al especially enjoyed all the fellowship over the years. He currently owns a Black 2001 Honda Valkyrie Interstate.
When he is not on his bike, he operates a front-end loader at Vulcan Material. He is as loyal to his work as to his commitment
to motorcycles. He has worked at Vulcan for thirty-three years. If you have not had an opportunity to meet Al, just walk up
to him. He will always greet you will a friendly smile and a helping hand. We all thank Al for his dedicated support to ABATE,
his friends, community, and fellow biker. Everyone be sure to say congrats to Big Al, ABATE District 1's July Spot Light Member
