Debbie Warren Our Spotlight of the month
Deb
was born in Tecumseh, Mi. Her father was a transplant from Kentucky, he married her Yankee mom and they raised 6 girls, yes
ALL girls (Deb is the oldest) in a one-bath 5-bedroom farmhouse. Summers were spent down south or up north on the lakes. Dennis’s
family was also transplants to Michigan from the South. Deb is the mother of two sons, Kevin & Randy
both of Chatsworth. She has been married to Dennis for 30 years. They are expecting their first grandchildren in June, both
boys (wives) are pregnant & due 15 days apart. Expecting a boy & a girl. Deb co- owns a trucking company with Dennis
for the last 27 years. She was also a grocery manager for 13 years. She worked in nutrition management for 6 years. She is
currently a Shipping Office Manager for Mohawk Home in Calhoun, Ga. She has a very close relationship with her siblings &
parents, who now all reside in Chatsworth. She is a favorite Aunt to many of the nieces & nephews. She is a caring &
giving person with a heart of gold. She does not tolerate evil gossip and can turn ugly when someone deceives her intentionally.
She gives her all to her husband, kids, work and anything she’s does. She takes pride in her self and when she takes
on a task she gives her all. She’s a fun loving person and full of joy (most of the time) Her love of motorcycles was
just recently reborn thru her sisters. Her first experience of riding was before she was married. She was dating Dennis and
he had just bought a 1977 650Yamaha. She learned to ride on gravel back roads, however she had a bad habit of popping the
clutch on take off’s. With Dennis always fussing at her for this, one day, with Dennis watching she was determined not
to pop the clutch, and ran right into the back of a parked pick up truck (her Dad’s) the only thing hurt was her pride
and a dented gas tank & a broken mirror. Dennis was not a happy camper; he hadn’t made the first payment on this
bike, as he let Deb know quite verbally. All turned out well, he forgave her & still wanted to marry her. She is an animal
lover. She would have their 6 acres filled up with stray rescue dogs if Dennis would let her. They have 3 German Shepard’s
and two Chihuahua’s that they treat like children. She learned to ride horses @ the age of 3. Her Dad had a stable full
of horses. To this day she is still horse crazy. She has a love for life and all who are around her. She is a true friend
and one you can confide in. :Dennis
