Dear Officers and Members; I want to thank the
officers for a wonderful time. It was a pleasure to spend time with the wonderful folks of District 1 and
see the “new guard” doing such a great job. I have been friends with the “old guard”
for quite a number of years and have attended several functions over the years. I know how hard these folks
work to assure that the each event goes well and it is so refreshing to see the younger folks come in and take over in such
a competent manner. The games for both children and adults were much fun and
a great chance for folks to show off their skills. The changes added to the fun and challenges. The ride Saturday morning was beautiful and cool. Thanks to those who were
responsible for adding this and carrying it out so well. Hope you make this a regular feature. The men's belly dancing contest was so much fun my belly hurt from laughing at these wonderful
guys for being men enough to have so much fun and making it so much fun for those of us watching and cheering them on. The music was great, the food was great, and of course all the members made it a truly enjoyable
weekend. Each and every one of you should give yourself a pat on the back for
a job well done and showing that the future of ABATE looks bright with such capable members. With much appreciation and respect, Cheryl Dent Member, District 7
